This was a nice place where we were able to dock for free along the public dock. This is where we have been for the past two nights riding out the gale (39-54mph winds). The day we arrived it was still nice weather so we enjoyed their beach.
A nice man named Denver (named after Denver, CO) helped us get pass cards for the showers and laundry. Another nice man named Jim Thompson allowed us to borrow his truck for provisions in town. We needed this to help us with repairs.
We had to repair the engine, the jib( the front sail), and the windlass that help us pull up the anchor.
We are also still working on getting a refrigeration unit working.
Good luck getting that refridgeration unit working. But if anyone can do it, Paul can.
