Turned back to Haverstraw Bay

We got up early this morning and put on the Genoa "the front sail". This helped us sail while motoring against the current. As we traveled south on the Hudson River and were going under the Tappan Zee Bridge we were informed by the coast guard that New York Harbor was closed to recreational vessels.
Now we are anchored out again in Haverstraw Bay for the night. We will try again tomorrow.
For now we will put our main sail on and use the dingy to get around.
